Oron People
The Oron people or Örö people are a sub- ethnic group of the larger Ibibio people, that make up the Akpakip Oro or Oron Nation. The Örö are located primarily in southern Nigeria in the riverine area of Akwa Ibom and the Cross River States and in Cameroon. Akpakip Oro are regarded as an ancient warrior people, speaking the Oro language which is in the Cross River language family of the Benue–Congo languages. They are ancestrally related to the Efik people of the Cross River State, the Ibeno and Eastern Obolo in Akwa Ibom, the Andoni people in Rivers State and the Balondo-ba-Konja in the Congo. The geopolitical restructuring of states and local government within Nigeria has seen the egalitarian society of the Oron Nation being fragmented politically in the Niger Delta. Oro (Oron) is a Lower Cross River language of Nigeria. Lake Oron ( rus, озеро Орон, r=Ozero Oron) is a lake in eastern Irkutsk Oblast (Bodaybinsky District), Russia. Geography It is located in the Kodar Mountains, to the south of the southern slopes of the Delyun-Uran Range. Lake Oron is connected to the Vitim River via a short waterway. Hydrography Lake Oron sits at an elevation of above sea level. It is long and wide, with a surface area of and a maximum depth of . The western and eastern slopes of the lake are practically vertical, and 85 percent of the lake is of a depth greater than , while the northern part of the lake that connects to the Vitim River is more shallow, with depths up to . The presence of deep faults beneath Lake Oron strongly suggest that the lake has a tectonic origin, with a hydrological regime determined more by changes in precipitation than by glacier meltwater. Kapylyushi
Kapylyushi (russian: Капылюши) or Kapylyushy is a body of fresh water in the Bauntovsky District, Buryatia, Russia. The name originated in an Evenki word. The lake is located in the northwestern corner of the Vitim Plateau, near the left bank of river Tsipikan, of the Vitim river basin. Together with lake Baunt it belongs to the "Tsipo-Tsipikansky" (Ципо-Ципиканских) lake group —after rivers Tsipa and Tsipikan, which is also known as Bauntovsky (Баунтовских) —after lake Baunt. The study of the whole lake area began only in the 1930s in the course of an expedition of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Research Institute of Freshwater Fisheries of the USSR. The results of the research were published in 1936 in the Handbook of Water Resources of the USSR.
