Orlando Pingo De Ouro
Orlando de Azevedo Viana, commonly known as Orlando Pingo de Ouro ("golden drop") (December 4, 1923 - August 4, 2004) was a Brazilian footballer, who played as a left midfielder. Football career Orlando began his career at Náutico and defended the colors of Fluminense playing between 1945 and 1954, scoring 186 goals in 310 matches for ''Flu'', making him top scorer in the 1946 Carioca Championship and the 1952 Rio Cup His debut for Fluminense at Laranjeiras Stadium was in the 2–1 victory over America FC on August 5, 1945, having scored the winning goal in the 38th minute of the second half, against 13,113 paying fans, plus the tricolor members present at the Laranjeiras Stadium that afternoon. 1949 South American Championship
The 1949 South American Championship was the 21st. edition of the Copa América, the main national team football competition in South America. It was held in, and won by, Brazil. Paraguay finished as runner-up while Argentina withdrew from the tournament. This achievement ended a 27-year streak without official titles for the Brazilians. Olaria Atlético Clube
Olaria Atlético Clube, usually abbreviated to Olaria, is a Brazilian football club established in 1915, since expanded into other sports. Mostly know for its Brazilian football team based in the city of Rio de Janeiro, in the neighbourhood of Olaria. The team compete in Campeonato Carioca Série B1, the second tier of the Rio de Janeiro state football league. The club name means brick factory, and is also the name of the club's neighborhood. Olaria is one of the small clubs from Rio de Janeiro that have managed to remain active in the shade of the four big ones (Botafogo, Flamengo, Fluminense and Vasco da Gama). The Taça da Prefeitura do Distrito Federal (''Cup of the Prefecture of the Federal District''), commonly also Torneio Municipal do Rio de Janeiro (''Municipal Tournament of Rio de Janeiro''), was a tournament for clubs of the then capital of Brazil Rio de Janeiro which was held for the first time in 1938 and which took place annually from 1943 to 1948. The Campeonato Carioca (Carioca Championship), officially known as Campeonato Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (Port., Rio de Janeiro State Championship), was started in 1906 and is the annual football championship in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Copa Rio (international Tournament)
The Copa Rio (''Rio Cup'') was the first intercontinental club football tournament with teams from Europe and South America, having been held on two occasions, in 1951 and 1952, in Brazil. Both editions were organised and endorsed by the Brazilian Sports Confederation (Confederação Brasileira de Desportos), the then Brazilian FA and sports main body.
