Rodolfo Orlando Orlandini (1 January 1905 – 24 December 1990) was an Argentine football (soccer) midfielder who played for the Argentina national team between 1927 and 1930. Club career Orlandini played club football in Argentina for Sportivo Buenos Aires and Estudiantil Porteño before moving to Italy in 1930 to play for Genoa C.F.C. Giuseppe Maria Orlandini (4 April 167624 October 1760) was an Italian Baroque music, baroque Musical composition, composer particularly known for his more than 40 operas and intermezzos. Highly regarded by music historians of his day like Francesco Saverio Quadrio, Jean-Benjamin de La Borde and Charles Burney, Orlandini, along with Antonio Vivaldi, Vivaldi, is considered one of the major creators of the new style of opera that dominated the second decade of the 18th century. Vincenzo Orlandini (30 August 1910 – 23 October 1961) was the first Italian to officiate in a FIFA World Cup final match when he ran the line to William Ling in the 1954 World Cup final between Hungary and West Germany. Orlandini had already taken charge of both the quarter final between Uruguay and England as well as the semi-final between West Germany and Austria when he was selected to run the line in that tournament's final. Orlandini came very much to prominence as an international referee during the mid-1950s; officiating in the December 1954 meeting between World Champions West Germany and England in London as well as the May 1955 meeting between Yugoslavia and Scotland in Belgrade. Niccolò Orlandini (April 10, 1553 – May 17, 1606) was an Italian Jesuit author. Biography He was born at Florence in 1553. He entered the Jesuit novitiate in November 7, 1572, became rector of the Jesuit college at Nola and was master of novices at Naples for five years. He was finally appointed secretary of the Jesuit general Claudio Acquaviva, who in 1558 detailed him to write the history of the Jesuit Order, his master piece. He died in Rome in 1606. Works His history of the Jesuit Order comprises only the generalate of St. Ignatius. It was edited by Sacchini, and appeared under the title "Historiæ Societatis Jesu prima pars" (Rome, 1614, 1615, 1621; Antwerp, 1620; Cologne, 1620). It is written in the form of annals and based chiefly on a life written by the saint's secretary, de Polanco.
