Original Gangstas
''Original Gangstas'' is a 1996 action-gangster film filmed and set in urban Gary, Indiana starring Blaxploitation film stars such as Fred Williamson, Pam Grier, Jim Brown, and Richard Roundtree. It is the final film directed by Larry Cohen before his death in 2019, though he continued to write screenplays through 2010. The film details the deteriorating state of an impoverished Gary neighborhood terrorized by a street gang called the Rebels. When the gang murders a local boy, it prompts the emergence of several individuals who grew up in the neighborhood: the original members of the Rebels. Vladimir Horunzhy (born September 19, 1949, in Kyiv) is a film producer and composer, a well-known jazz musician. Graduated from a Special music school at Kyiv Music Conservatory. His first composition was written at the age of 12. In the '70s led the Pop-Symphony Orchestra of Radio and Television of Ukraine. From 1977 to 1981 lived and worked in Hungary. Moved to the U.S. in 1981. The first project, which he participated in as a composer there, was the famous daytime soap opera “Santa Barbara”. An active jazz musician, Vladimir performed at Soviet jazz festivals in Tallinn, Moscow, Donetsk, and throughout the Soviet Union. Noo Trybe Records
Noo Trybe Records was an American hip hop record label established in 1994 by Eric L. Brooks and operated as a sublabel of Virgin Records. It worked with several independent hip hop labels including Rap-A-Lot Records and AWOL. History A portion of Noo Trybe's roster came from several artists who were absorbed from EMI when it was disbanded, which included Gang Starr and AZ. Other Virgin acts such as Shyheim, who signed with the label in 1993, were transferred to the new label. One of the label's biggest successes was the group Luniz. On July 4, 1995, Noo Trybe released Luniz's debut studio album, ''Operation Stackola''. Charles Lewis Napier (April 12, 1936 – October 5, 2011) was an American character actor known for playing supporting and occasional leading roles in television and films.
