Bryan Organ (born 31 August 1935 in Leicester) is a British artist considered one of the leading and most innovative English portrait painters of the 20th century. His paintings have included portraits of prominent public figures and of members of the British royal family. Organ is also known for landscape paintings, such as ''St Pancras Station'', (Leicester New Walk Museum and Art Gallery), and lithographic studies of animals (Tate). London's National Portrait Gallery holds a total of sixteen of his portraits of which six were commissioned by the Gallery's Trustees. Organ studied at Loughborough College of Art and the Royal Academy Schools (1952–59) before returning to teach at Loughborough College of Art (1959–66). Diana Mary Organ (née Pugh; born 21 February 1952) is a British Labour Party politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Forest of Dean from 1997 to 2005. Early life Her father was Finance Controller of GKN. She went to the independent Edgbaston Church of England College for Girls in Edgbaston, Birmingham (which became the co-ed St. Georges School, Birmingham in 1999). Ellen Organ (August 24, 1903 – February 2, 1908), known as Little Nellie of Holy God, was an Irish child, venerated by some in the Roman Catholic Church for her precocious spiritual awareness and alleged mystical life. Particularly dedicated to the Eucharist, the story of her life inspired Pope Pius X to admit young children to Holy Communion. Gerry Organ (born December 4, 1944) is a former professional Canadian football placekicker and Punter (football), punter for the Ottawa Rough Riders of the Canadian Football League. He played for 13 seasons for the Rough Riders, playing in three Grey Cup games, winning two championships in 61st Grey Cup, 1973 and 64th Grey Cup, 1976. Organ played in 176 games in the CFL and is Ottawa's all-time leader in points scored with 1,462. He is the only kicker to have won the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian Award, which he won in 1973 CFL season, 1973. He played college football with the Guelph Gryphons. Michael Organ (born 1953 Carlisle, Indiana) is an American rock 'n' roll drummer best known for performing and recording with Sonny Landreth and Henry Lee Summer. Organ was a part of a number of country and bluegrass albums from the 1980s into the 1990s. He also recorded with Jimmy Buffett and a number of other country artists. He was an active musician as of 2009. Career Michael Organ played drums with pop/rock singer Henry Lee Summer from 1983 to 1992 including work on all four of Summer's album releases for Epic Records as well as the 1988 single Darlin' Danielle Don't, the 1989 top twenty single Hey Baby, and the 1993 single Ain't That Love.
