Oregon's 41st House District
District 41 of the Oregon House of Representatives is one of 60 House legislative districts in the state of Oregon. As of 2021, the boundary for the district contains portions of Clackamas and Multnomah counties. The district includes Milwaukie and Oak Grove as well as the Eastmoreland, Sellwood, and Woodstock neighborhoods of southeast Portland. The current representative for the district is Democrat Mark Gamba of Milwaukie. The district is relatively diverse in that it includes upscale, middle-class, and working-class neighborhoods. Oregon () is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the Western United States. The Republican Party, also referred to as the GOP ("Grand Old Party"), is one of the two major contemporary political parties in the United States. 2020 Oregon House Of Representatives Election
The 2020 Oregon House of Representatives election were held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, with the primary election being held on May 19, 2020. Voters in the 60 districts of the Oregon House of Representatives elected their representatives. The elections coincided with the elections for other offices, including for the Oregon State Senate and for U.S. President. The Democratic Party kept their majority. 2018 Oregon Legislative Election
The 2018 elections for the Oregon Legislative Assembly determined the composition of both houses for the 80th Oregon Legislative Assembly. The Republican and Democratic parties held primary elections on May 15, 2018 with general elections on November 6, 2018. As a result of the elections, the Democratic Party expanded its advantage in both houses of the state legislature. The party gained one seat in the Oregon State Senate and three seats in the Oregon House of Representatives, bringing its advantage over the Republican Party to 18-12 and 38-22, respectively. Karin Power
Karin Power (born 1982/83) is an American lawyer and Democratic politician who previously served in the Oregon House of Representatives. She represented the 41st district, which covers parts of Clackamas County and Multnomah County, including Milwaukie, Oak Grove, and parts of southeast Portland. Early life and education Power moved to Southeast Portland from Boston, Massachusetts in 2009 in order to attend Lewis & Clark Law School. Kathleen Taylor (born 1966/67) is an American politician from Oregon. A Democrat, she was first elected to the Oregon House of Representatives in 2014 and to the Oregon State Senate in 2016. The 2010 elections for the Oregon Legislative Assembly determined the composition of both houses for the 76th Oregon Legislative Assembly. The Republican and Democratic primary elections were on May 18, 2010, and the general election was held on November 2, 2010.
