Order Of Zolfaghar
The Order of Zolfaghar ( fa, نشان ذوالفقار, Neshan-e Zolfaghar) is the highest military honour of Iran. The Order was established in 1856 as the Decoration of the Commander of the Faithful, by Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, Naser al-Din Shah. It was given its current name in 1925, by Reza Shah, Reza Shah I. It was the pinnacle of the Imperial honours system, and was limited to the Sovereign and the individuals who had performed the most outstanding acts of patriotism on behalf of Persia and Iran. History The Order was a military order of Imperial Persia and Iran named after Zulfiqar, "Spine-cleaver", the famous two-pointed sword of Imam Ali, the son-in-law of the Prophet Muhammad. IRIA Zulfaqar Ribbon
, stylized as ''I・Я・I・A ZЁIЯAM THE ANIMATION'', is a six-episode original video animation (OVA) anime series produced by Ashi Productions and directed by Tetsurō Amino. The series serves as a prequel to the original live-action film ''Zeiram'', taking place several years earlier when the female bounty hunter protagonist Iria is still a rookie and detailing the events surrounding her first encounter with the unstoppable Zeiram. The Nishan-e Aqdas (''Imperial Order'' or ''Most Sacred Order'') was an Imperial Iranian Order founded in 1870 by the Qajar Shah of Iran Nassereddin. There were three classes, with two different styles for Iranians (''Sardar'') and foreigners (''Nishan''). The Order was dissolved upon the collapse of the Qajar dynasty. The Order of Aftab (Persian: نشان آفتاب trans. ''Neshan-e Aftab''), also known as the Order of the Sun, was a decoration founded by Nasser al-Din Shah Qajar, the Shah of Iran, in February 1873, before his first visit to various European states. Gholamali Bayandor ( fa, غلامعلی بایندر; December 13, 1898 – August 25, 1941) was the Commander of the Imperial Iranian Navy from 1931 to August 25, 1941, and was killed during the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran. Amir Abdollah Tahmasebi
Abdollah Khan Amir Tahmasebi ( fa, عبدالله خان امیر طهماسبی, 1881–1928) was a Persian senior military commander, instrumental in the fall of the Qajar dynasty and rise to power of Reza Shah Pahlavi. He first became well known in Azerbaijan for the successful restoration of law and order, gaining widespread recognition and popularity there. He was then appointed governor of Tehran by Reza Shah, replaced in Azerbaijan by Mohammad Hosein Airom. In 1925, he became Minister of War. In 1928, while en route to Lurestan to visit a road construction site with some engineers, his group was ambushed by unknown assailants near Borujerd. Lieutenant general Ahmad Amir-Ahmadi (1884–1965) was a military leader and cabinet Minister of Iran. Born in 1884 in Isfahan, of an aristocratic Persian family, he is one of the planners of the coup d'état of Reza Pahlavi, Colonel Mohammad Taqi Pessian, his brother-in-law General Heydaygholi Pessian and Seyyed Zia'eddin Tabatabaee against the Qajar dynasty. He is the first person to receive the rank of "sepahbod" (corps general or lieutenant general) under Reza Shah Pahlavi. He and his brother-in-law Heydargholli Pessian had planned to create a more democratic Iran but he later told his sister that 'the British would not allow it'. The Lion and Sun ( fa, شیر و خورشید, Šir-o xoršid, ; Classical Persian: ) is one of the main emblems of Iran (Persia), and was an element in Iran's national flag until the 1979 Iranian Revolution and is still commonly used by opposition groups of the Islamic Republic government. The motif, which illustrates ancient and modern Iranian traditions, became a popular symbol in Iran in the 12th century.
