The Order and Medal of Bravery ( sq, Urdhëri dhe Medalja e Trimërisë) were honorary awards given to the citizens, families and military units in the People's Socialist Republic of Albania. Definition The order and medal were given to citizens, families, units and subdivisions of the military that participated in the National Liberation War and fought with bravery and self-sacrifice against the enemy, as well as for bravery shown in cases of aggression or provocation on a large scale against the People's Socialist Republic of Albania. The Parliament of Albania ( sq, Kuvendi i Shqipërisë) or Kuvendi is the unicameral representative body of the citizens of the Republic of Albania; it is Albania's legislature. The Parliament is composed of no less than 140 members elected to a four-year term on the basis of direct, universal, periodic and equal suffrage by secret ballot. The People's Socialist Republic of Albania ( sq, Republika Popullore Socialiste e Shqipërisë, links=no) was the Marxist–Leninist one party state that existed in Albania from 1946 to 1992 (the official name of the country was the People's Republic of Albania from 1946 until 1976 and the Republic of Albania from 1991 until its dissolution in 1992).
