Order-Sol
is a fictional character in Arc System Works' '' Guilty Gear'' video game series. He first appeared in the 1998 video game '' Guilty Gear'', as the main character and namesake. In the series, he is a bounty hunter who has dedicated his life to the destruction of Gears, a race of magical bioweapons that plunged the world into a hundred-year war known as the Crusades. He was once a member of the Sacred Order of the Holy Knights, and this appearance was featured in another playable character named . Sol Badguy, whose real name is Frederick Bulsara, was named after Freddie Mercury's nickname, "Mr. Bad Guy", by Daisuke Ishiwatari, the series' creator, who also provided his voice in the video games. Daisuke Ishiwatari
is a Japanese video game developer, illustrator, musician, composer and voice actor. He is best known for creating the 2D fighting game series ''Guilty Gear''. He designed the characters and storyline, and wrote the music. He also provides the in-game voice for the characters Sol Badguy and Order-Sol, as well as Freed Velez in ''Battle Fantasia''. Ishiwatari was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and raised in Japan. Ishiwatari worked with Arc System Works on the first ''Guilty Gear'' as soon as he left school. Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara; 5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991) was a British singer and songwriter, who achieved worldwide fame as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (Queen drummer), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass).
