Orda, Perm Krai
Orda (russian: Орда) is a rural locality (a '' selo'') and the administrative center of Ordinsky District of Perm Krai, Russia, located on the Kungur River (a tributary of the Iren River. Population: Orda was first mentioned in written sources in 1662. It has served as the administrative center of Ordinsky District since 1924, with a brief interruption in 1963–1965. Perm Krai
Perm Krai (russian: Пе́рмский край, r=Permsky kray, p=ˈpʲɛrmskʲɪj ˈkraj, ''Permsky krai'', , ''Perem lador'') is a federal subject of Russia (a krai) that came into existence on December 1, 2005 as a result of the 2004 referendum on the merger of Perm Oblast and Komi-Permyak Autonomous Okrug. The city of Perm is the administrative center. The population of the krai was 2,635,276 according to the ( 2010 Census). Komi-Permyak Okrug retained its autonomous status within Perm Krai during the transitional period of 2006–2008. It also retained a budget separate from that of the krai, keeping all federal transfers. Starting in 2009, Komi-Permyak Okrug's budget became subject to the budgeting law of Perm Krai. Orda Cave
Orda Cave (Ординская, ''Ordinskaya'') is a gypsum crystal cave found underneath the western Ural Mountains. The mouth is near the shore of the Kungur River just outside Orda, Perm Krai in Russia. The cave system stretches over with around over the overall length being under water. This makes it one of the longest underwater caves and the largest underwater gypsum cave in the world. It contains the longest siphon in the former Soviet Union (935 meters). The mineral-rich area surrounding the cave filters the water and makes it very clear. Divers have a visibility of over making it an ideal location for photographic expeditions. Victor Lyagushkin, a journalist and underwater photographer, led around 150 expeditions into the caves over a six-month period in 2011.
