Orc Stain
''Orc Stain'' is a fantasy comic book series created by James Stokoe and published by Image Comics. The first seven issues were published from January 2010–February 2012. The first five issues were collected into a trade paperback titled ''Orc Stain Volume 1''. Publication history ''Orc Stain'' ran bimonthly for five issues, with issue #6 coming out 6 months after #5. Issue #7 came out nearly a year after #6. No issues have been published since February 2012. Image Comics
Image Comics is an American comic book publisher and is the third largest comic book and graphic novel publisher in the industry in both unit and market share. It was founded in 1992 by several high-profile illustrators as a venue for creator-owned properties, in which comics creators could publish material of their own creation without giving up the copyrights to those properties. Normally this isn't the case in the work for hire-dominated American comics industry, where the legal author is a publisher, such as Marvel Comics or DC Comics, and the creator is an employee of that publisher. Comic Book
A comic book, also called comicbook, comic magazine or (in the United Kingdom and Ireland) simply comic, is a publication that consists of comics art in the form of sequential juxtaposed panels that represent individual scenes. Panels are often accompanied by descriptive prose and written narrative, usually, dialogue contained in word balloons emblematic of the comics art form. "Comic Cuts" was a British comic published from 1890 to 1953. It was preceded by "Ally Sloper's Half Holiday" (1884) which is notable for its use of sequential cartoons to unfold narrative. In comics in the United States, a trade paperback (shortened: TPB or trade) is a collection of stories originally published in comic books, reprinted in book format, usually presenting either a complete miniseries, a story arc from a single title, or a series of stories with an arc or common theme. A trade paperback may reproduce the stories either at the same size in which they were originally presented (in comic book format), in a smaller "digest-sized" format, or a larger-than-original hardcover. This article applies to both paperback and hardcover collections. In the comics industry, the term "trade paperback market" may refer to the market for any collection, regardless of its actual cover. Brandon Graham (comics)
Brandon Graham (born 1976 in Oregon) is an American comic book creator. Biography Born in Oregon, Graham grew up in Seattle, Washington, where he was a graffiti artist. He wrote and illustrated comic books for Antarctic Press and Radio Comix, but got his start drawing pornographic comics such as ''Pillow Fight'', ''Perverts of the Unknown'' and the initial issue of '' Multiple Warheads'' (Warheads would go on to become an ongoing, more mainstream comic published by Oni Press in 2007). In 1997, he moved to New York City where he found work with NBM Publishing and became a founding member of comics collective Meathaus. Michael DeForge
Michael DeForge (born 1987) is a Canadian comics artist and illustrator. Biography DeForge grew up in Ottawa and attended the University of Toronto, dropping out after two years. He lives and works in Toronto. According to DeForge, he has "always been drawing cartoons" and learned to read and draw from his parents' comic strip collections such as ''Bloom County'', ''Far Side'', ''Peanuts'' and ''Calvin and Hobbes''. He has described ''Peanuts'' as his all-time favorite cartoon strip. He read and tried to draw in the style of superhero comics until junior high and high school. In June 2020, Newsarama was merged with the website GamesRadar+, also owned by FutureUS.
