Christelijke Voetbalvereniging Oranje Nassau (Christian football club Orange-Nassau) is a football club from Groningen, Netherlands. Its female first and second squad and its male first squad plays in the Eerste Klasse, the men and women's first teams relegated in 2017 from their respective Hoofdklasse leagues. History CVV Oranje Nassau was founded on 30 April 1918. Its male first squad initially played in local leagues. 1947–1999: Vierde Klasse to first Eerste Klasse title; Women in Hoofdklasse In 1947 Oranje Nassau joined KNVB's Vierde Klasse, winning section championships in 1956, 1957 and 1958. In 1958 it promoted to the Derde Klasse. Oranje Nassau won a Derde Klasse championship in 1964 and promoted to the Tweede Klasse. The KNVB Women's Cup ( nl, KNVB Beker voor Vrouwen) is the cup competition for women's football in the Netherlands. The competition was established in 1980, along with the KNVB Amateur Cup. Voetbalvereniging Sterk Door Combinatie, more commonly known as VV SteDoCo or simply SteDoCo, is a Dutch football club based in the towns of Hoornaar and Hoogblokland in the Molenlanden, South Holland. 2019–20 Eerste Klasse
The 2019–20 Eerste Klasse season was a season of the Eerste Klasse. Effects of the COVID-19 pandemic On 12 March 2020, all football leagues were suspended until 31 March as the Dutch government forbade events due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Netherlands. On 15 March this period was extended until 6 April. Due to the decision of the Dutch government to forbid all gatherings and events until 1 June 2020, this period was even further extended. Eventually, on 31 March 2020, the KNVB decided not to resume competitions at the amateur level. They also decided, for those competitions involved, there would be no final standings, and therefore no champions, initially no promotions and no relegations.
