CIF Southern Section
The California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section (CIF-SS) is the governing body for high school athletics in most of Southern California and is the largest of the ten sections that comprise the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). Its membership includes most public and private high schools in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, and central and southern Santa Barbara counties. At the start of the 2018/9 season, 13 schools from San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County left the Southern Section to join the much smaller CIF Central Section. Teams from the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and surrounding areas have competed in the CIF Los Angeles City Section since 1935. CIFSS's offices are located in Los Alamitos. Anaheim High School is a public, four-year high school in the city of Anaheim, California, United States and serves students living in the Colony District of Anaheim. Anaheim High School was first established in 1898, which makes it the oldest of nine comprehensive high schools in the Anaheim Union High School District. Century High School is located in Santa Ana, California. It is one of the smallest campuses in Orange County, built to house 1500 students. It was built in 1989. Santa Ana Valley High School
Santa Ana Valley High School, also referred to as Valley High School is located at 1801 S. Greenville St. in Santa Ana, CA 92704. Valley High was built in 1959. Background Santa Ana Valley High School was the second high school constructed for the Santa Ana Unified. The School first opened its door on September 14, 1959. In 2006–07, the school was remodeled for the first time in its history. During this time, all students used the Godinez Fundamental High School campus, which had just been built. The nickname, 'Valley West' was first used by Lewis Bratcher to note the temporary three block westward move. This remodeling project included the construction of a brand new Olympic-size swimming pool and the installation of air conditioning in some of the classrooms. Savanna High School
Savanna High School (SHS) is a public high school in the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD), located in the city of Anaheim, California in the United States. Savanna was established in 1961 and is one of eight comprehensive high schools within the district. The school currently services the Northwest Anaheim region and southeast Buena Park. History Savanna was the second of three new high schools opened in response to the city's rapid postwar growth, between Magnolia and Loara, all built by the Beckner Construction Company.
