Oquaga Creek State Park
Oquaga Creek State Park is a state park in Broome, Delaware Delaware ( ) is a state in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, bordering Maryland to its south and west; Pennsylvania to its north; and New Jersey and the Atlantic Ocean to its east. The state takes its name from the adjacent Del ..., and Chenango counties, New York. The park is partially in the Town of Masonville and partly in the Town of Sanford. Sanford is a town in Broome County, New York, United States. The population was 2,407 at the 2010 census. The town is on the eastern border of the county and the southern border of the state of New York. Sanford is east of Binghamton. Disc golf, also known as frisbee golf, is a flying disc sport in which players throw a disc at a target; it is played using rules similar to golf. Most disc golf discs are made out of polypropylene plastic, otherwise known as polypropene, which is a thermoplastic polymer resin used in a wide variety of applications. Bainbridge is a town in Chenango County, New York, United States. The population was 3,308 at the 2010 census. The town is at the eastern border of Chenango County, halfway between Binghamton and Oneonta. The Village of Bainbridge is located at the geographic center of the town. History Bainbridge was originally settled by Native Americans of the Iroquois nations. During the American Revolution, these tribes became allies of the British and commenced raids on American settlements. In 1779, George Washington ordered the Sullivan Expedition into what is today Upstate New York.
