''Opus'' is the debut studio album by Swedish DJ Eric Prydz. It was released on 5 February 2016 in Sweden through Virgin Records. The album includes the singles " Every Day", " Liberate", "Generate", "Opus", "Breathe" and "Last Dragon". Singles " Every Day" was released as the lead single from the album on 15 October 2012; the song has charted in Belgium and the Netherlands. " Liberate" was released as the second single from the album on 3 June 2014, the song has charted in Belgium. "Generate" was released as the third single from the album on 18 June 2015. "Opus" was released as the fourth single from the album on 17 August 2015, the song has charted in Belgium. "Breathe" was released as the fifth single from the album on 8 January 2016. Eric Prydz
Eric Sheridan Prydz (, ; born 19 July 1976), also known by his many aliases including Pryda () and Cirez D (), is a Swedish DJ and music producer. He rose to fame with his 2004 hit single " Call on Me", and saw continued chart success with "Proper Education" in 2007, "Pjanoo" in 2008, and "Opus" in 2015. In 2016, he released his debut studio album, ''Opus''. In 2017, he won DJ of the Year at the Electronic Music Awards and was also nominated for Live Act of the Year. Career 2004–2008: "Call on Me" and Swedish House Mafia Prydz is perhaps best known for his 2004 hit single " Call on Me". It topped the UK singles chart for five weeks and was number one on the German Top 100 for six consecutive weeks. ''Pitchfork'' (formerly ''Pitchfork Media'') is an American online music publication (currently owned by Condé Nast) that was launched in 1995 by writer Ryan Schreiber as an independent music blog. Schreiber started Pitchfork while working at a record store in suburban Minneapolis, and the website earned a reputation for its extensive coverage of indie rock music. It has since expanded and covers all kinds of music, including pop. Pitchfork was sold to Condé Nast in 2015, although Schreiber remained its editor-in-chief until he left the website in 2019. Astralwerks is an American record label primarily focused on electronic music owned by Universal Music Group. Its material is distributed via Capitol Music Group in the United States. The compact disc (CD) is a Digital media, digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings. Tom Havelock is a British singer-songwriter and lead singer of the band PREP. He is also sometimes known by his stage name Tom Cane. Music career Early beginnings Havelock was an academic and music scholar at Eton before becoming a student at the University of Oxford when he decide to join in a band with his three close childhood friends back in 1997 to play a few college gigs. Along with Henry Morton Jack, Marcus Efstratiou and Rupert Harrison, they initially performed under the name The Full Monty.
