Operation Mobilisation
Operation Mobilisation is a Christian missionary organisation founded by George Verwer to mobilise young people to live and share the Gospel of Jesus. OM, (Operation Mobilisation) , started in Mexico and had spread to Europe and India by 1963. OM currently has 6,800 people working in 118 countries around the world, seeking to "see vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached". OM's core values are knowing and glorifying God, living in submission to God's Word, being people of grace & integrity, serving sacrificially, loving & valuing people, evangelising the world, reflecting the diversity of the body of Christ, global intercession, and esteeming the church. George Verwer
George Verwer (born July 3, 1938) is an Evangelist and is the founder of Operation Mobilisation (OM), a Christianity, Christian Mission (Christianity), missions organization. Verwer has written several books on various Christian themes. He is a passionate advocate of radical discipleship as the only legitimate option for people who believe in Jesus. In recent days, he has been working in India (Barathdasham in Telugu) ministered in various languages including Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Over a million books he has authored have been distributed worldwide. He preaches in many churches in zoom and is very passionate about spreading the word of God. A Christian mission is an organized effort for the propagation of the Christian faith. Missions involve sending individuals and groups across boundaries, most commonly geographical boundaries, to carry on evangelism or other activities, such as educational or hospital work. MV ''Logos Hope'' is a ship operated as a part of a faith based organisations by Gute Bücher für Alle. She was built in 1973 as the ferry MV ''Gustav Vasa'' for service between Malmö (Sweden) and Travemünde (Germany) and later operated as the MV ''Norröna'' providing a ferry service to the Faroe Islands. History In 1973 the ship was commissioned as the car ferry ''Gustav Vasa'' running between Malmö (Sweden) and Travemünde (Germany), a route she ran for 10 years. In April 1983 she was sold to the Faroese ferry company Smyril Line and renamed ''Norröna''. The ''MV Logos II'' was a ship built in Spain, 1968, which was purchased in 1989 by Educational Book Exhibits Ltd., a private, non-profit, charitable organisation registered in the UK. ''Logos II'' was operated on behalf of EBE by GBA Ships, a second private, non-profit, charitable organisation registered in Germany. She entered service in 1990 and was active until October 2008 when she was sold. The work of ''Logos II'' is now being carried on by a replacement vessel ''Logos Hope''. MV Doulos
MV ''Doulos Phos'' is a retired ocean liner, and former cruise ship that held the record of being the world's oldest active ocean-faring passenger ship, serving from 1914 until December 2009. She is now owned by Eric Saw, director and chief executive of BizNaz Resources International Pte Ltd in Singapore. She was previously operated by the German charity Gute Bücher für Alle (Good Books for All), and was used as a floating bookshop.
