Operation Dal-Bhaat
Operation Dal-Bhat was an operation carried out by Bangladesh Rifles to provide grocery items ( Dal Bhaat) to low income groups in Bangladesh. The operation was carried out during the Caretaker Government of Fakhruddin Ahmed. It was one of the main reasons behind the Bangladesh Rifles Mutiny of 2009. Colonel Mujibul Haque who was killed in the mutiny was in charge of the operation. The mutineers demanded their share of the profits from the operation. Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) are a paramilitary force responsible for the border security of Bangladesh. The force is known as "The Vigilant Sentinels of the National Frontier". Aziz Ahmed (born 1 January 1961) is a former four Star General of Bangladesh army who was Chief of Army Staff (CAS) of the Bangladesh Army, in office from 25 June 2018 to 24 June 2021. Arafat Rahman
Arafat Rahman, nicknamed "Koko" (December 8, 1969 – January 24, 2015) was a Bangladeshi cricket organizer and former Chairman of the Development Committee of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. He was also the younger son of former President of Bangladesh Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Khaleda Zia.
