Opa Nguette (born 8 July 1994) is a professional footballer who plays for the Senegal national team. He plays as an attacking midfielder and striker. Nguette was a France youth international, having represented his nation at under-18 to under-20 level, before switching allegiance to Senegal. Club career Nguette began his football career playing for hometown club Mantes at amateur level in the Championnat de France amateur, the fourth level of French football. In the 2011–12 season, he made his competitive debut on 13 August 2011 playing for Mantes in a league match against Les Herbiers. A week later, he departed Mantes to sign an ''aspirant'' (youth) contract with professional club Valenciennes. He made his professional debut on 11 August 2012 appearing as a substitute in a 1–0 win over Troyes. Mantes-la-Jolie (, often informally called Mantes) is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region of north-central France. It is located to the west of Paris, from the centre of the capital. Mantes-la-Jolie is a subprefecture; in 2016, it had a population of 44,231. Les Herbiers Vendée Football is a French football club based in Les Herbiers, Vendée. It was founded in 1919. They play at the Stade Massabielle, which has a capacity of 5,000 people. The 2012–13 Championnat de France amateur was the 15th season since its establishment. CA Bastia was the previous season's club champions. The teams and groups were announced in July 2012. The season began on 11 August and ended on 25 May 2013. The Championnat National 2, commonly known as National 2 and formerly known as Championnat de France Amateur (CFA), is a football league competition. The league serves as the fourth tier of the French football league system behind Ligue 1, Ligue 2, and the Championnat National. The Coupe de France, formerly known as the Coupe Charles Simon, is the premier knockout cup competition in French football organized by the French Football Federation (FFF). It was first held in 1917 and is open to all amateur and professional football clubs in France, including clubs based in the overseas departments and territories.
