''Oomakkuyil Padumbol'' () is a 2012 Indian Malayalam-language children's film produced and directed by Siddique Chennamangalloor, starring Malavika Nair, Akash Roshan, Shankar and Sangeetha Rajendran. Plot The story is about Reema (Malavika Nair), a young Muslim schoolgirl in Malabar, who loved Malayalam and poetry. The film is about her mental trauma once she was moved to an English medium school by her parents, for their social status. Shankar Panikkar
Shankar is an Indian actor who has worked in Malayalam and Tamil films. He acted in nearly 200 films.In the 80s and early 90s he was the most prominent romantc lead actor of Malayalam cinema. Shankar's debut Tamil cinema, Tamil film ''Oru Thalai Ragam,'' and Malayalam debut, ''Manjil Virinja Pookkal,'' completed a theatrical run of 365 and 250 days respectively. Nilambur Ayisha is an Indian actress in Malayalam movies. She started her career as a theater artist. Later she became a supporting actress in the Malayalam movies in late 1960s and 1970s. The Kerala State Film Awards are the film awards for a motion picture made in Kerala. The awards started in 1969 by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala and since 1998 the awards have been bestowed by Kerala State Chalachitra Academy on behalf of the Department of Cultural Affairs. Vidhu Prathap (born 1 September 1980) is an Indian playback singer. He has sung many songs in over 600 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu languages.
