"Ooh La La in L.A." is a song by the British rock band Slade, released in 1987 as the third single from their fourteenth studio album ''You Boyz Make Big Noize''. The song was written by lead vocalist Noddy Holder and bassist Jim Lea, and produced by John Punter. Background Slade began writing and recording material for their ''You Boyz Make Big Noize'' album in 1986. Hoping to record a hit album that would put them back in the public eye, ''You Boyz Make Big Noize'' was released in 1987, however both the album and its singles "Still the Same" and "That's What Friends Are For" all failed to achieve the expected level of commercial success. During the summer of 1987, "Ooh La La in L.A." was released as the album's third single, but mainly in Germany only, with CBS also releasing it in America as a promotional single. They rose to prominence during the glam rock era in the early 1970s, achieving 17 consecutive top 20 hits and six number ones on the UK Singles Chart. Autograph is an American glam metal band formed in Pasadena, California, in 1983. The band is best known for their 1984 hit song " Turn Up the Radio". Due to the song being their only major success, Autograph is often considered a one-hit wonder. Roy Thomas Baker (born 10 November 1946) is an English record producer, songwriter and arranger, who has produced rock and pop and songs since the 1970s. Career Baker began his career at Decca Records at the age of 14 and later worked as an assistant engineer at Morgan Studios. ''Get Fresh'' is a children's television programme that originally aired from 1986 to 1988 in the United Kingdom. Format A Saturday-morning kids' TV show, broadcast on the Children's ITV network, the show featured Gareth Jones (aka Gaz Top), Charlotte Hindle, and, for the first year of its run, Gian Sammarco, the British child actor best known for his portrayal of the character 'Adrian Mole'.
