''Onna Babo'' ( si, ඔන්න බබෝ, italic=yes) is a 2002 Sri Lankan Sinhala children's film directed by Dinesh Priyasad and produced by Lalindra Wijewickrama for Lalindra Films. It stars Sangeetha Weeraratne and child actress Shanudrie Priyasad in lead roles along with Wimal Kumara de Costa and Ronnie Leach. Music composed by Somapala Rathnayake. It is the 989th Sri Lankan film in the Sinhala cinema. The film has influenced by the 1994 Hollywood film ''Baby's Day Out''. ''Baby's Day Out'' is a 1994 American adventure comedy film directed by Patrick Read Johnson and written by John Hughes, who also produced the film. Dian Hemamali Sangeetha Weeraratne (born December 13, 1973, as ( Sinhala:සංගීතා වීරරත්න) is a Sri Lankan film actress in the Sri Lankan cinema. She made her debut as a sixteen-year-old with Roy de Silva's ''It's a Matter of Time'' opposite Kamal Addararachchi in 1990. However, she earned immense popularity only after performing in H.D. Premaratne's ''Saptha Kanya'', also opposite Kamal Addararachchi in 1993. It was a huge success and she won the Sarasaviya Best Newcomer Award that year. Wimal Kumara de Costa (4 July 1948 – 20 November 2016 as විමල් කුමාර ද කොස්තා inhala was an actor in Sri Lankan cinema. One of the most popular comedy artists in 1980s and 1990s, he started cinema career with character roles in art films where he later moved to comedy roles in cinema. Ronnie Luke Leitch (19 October 1953 – 1 October 2018 as රොනී ලීච්), better known as Ronni Leitch and Thattaya, was a Sri Lankan actor, comedian, singer, presenter and a social activist.
