Onicha Olona
Onicha Olona town is a town in the Aniocha North local government area of Delta State, Nigeria. It is the HQ of the former Onicha-Olona Kingdom, first ruled by Oba Ugbe, the brother of Oba Orhogbua (both brothers were sons of Oba Esigie of the ancient Benin Kingdom). Originally, it was ruled by the descendants of Oba Ugbe who reside in the present day Idumu-Ugbe Qtrs (Ugbe Royal Qtrs) before the arrival of the British. Onicha Olona has been challenged with the efforts to solve its Obiship over the years. Aniocha North is a Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria, with its headquarters in Issele Ukwu. It comprises Igbo speaking people and towns. The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) permanent orientation camp for Delta state is located at Issele Ukwu town. Victor Ochei
Victor Ochei is a former Nigerian Member of the House of Assembly from Ogbekenu in Onicha Olona Delta State. He was elected as a Speaker for Delta State House of Assembly, on 6 June 2011 and as the representative of Aniocha North constituency marking the commencement of the Fifth Assembly of the Delta State Legislature. Anioma People
Anioma people are a subgroup of the Igbo ethnic group in Delta State, Nigeria. They are made up of communities which span across 9 Local government areas and speak different varieties of the Igbo language, including the Enuani language, Ukwuani language, and the Ika-Ibo language. The farther away you go from Onitcha after the Niger bridge and heading towards Agbor and Benin city, the deeper the dialect.
