One Step Beyond (Dungeon Album)
''One Step Beyond'' is the fourth album from Australian heavy metal band Dungeon. It was released in Australia in November 2004 by Metal Warriors and in Japan at the same time by Sound Holic. LMP released the album worldwide in February 2005. Unlike the albums that preceded and followed it, ''One Step Beyond'' featured the same artwork and track-listing in all markets where it was released (although the United States version has a different running order). The Australian version was to contain covers of "Til the Living End" by Dokken and Queen's "The Hero" but Dungeon's German label LMP refused to allow them to issue an alternate edition and the tracks were later made available as downloads. LMP later issued a special edition for the US market that also included the band's self-produced 2004 live DVD. Drummer Steve Moore left Dungeon before the album was released. The Chocolate Watchband
The Chocolate Watchband is an American garage rock band that formed in 1965 in Los Altos, California. The band went through several lineup changes during its existence. Combining psychedelic and garage rock components, their sound was marked by David Aguilar's lead vocals, songwriting, as well as proto-punk musical arrangements. The band's rebellious musical posture made them one of the harder-edged groups of the period with many critics labeling them as America's answer to the Rolling Stones. The Chocolate Watchband was signed to Tower Records in 1966 and released their first single, "Sweet Young Thing", in 1967. Later in the year, the band released their debut album, '' No Way Out''. Though the album did not chart nationally, the band had a huge following in San Jose and the San Francisco Bay Area. Chris Ward (born June 27, 1960 in The Bronx) is an American country music singer. A former police officer and bull rider, Ward signed to Giant Records in 1994. After recording demos, he wrote Confederate Railroad's 1995 single "See Ya". Ward released his debut single "Fall Reaching" in 1996. Written by Robert Ellis Orrall and Josh Leo, and originally recorded by Orrall in the duo Orrall & Wright, the song received a favorable review from ''Billboard'', whose Deborah Evans Price said that it "should go a long way toward helping Ward get through the clutter of competition at country radio." The song spent two weeks on the Hot Country Songs charts, peaking at number 68. Stroud and Dann Huff co-produced Ward's debut album ''One Step Beyond''. One Step Beyond (song)
"One Step Beyond" is a tune written by Jamaican ska singer Prince Buster as a B-side for his 1964 single "Al Capone". It was covered by British band Madness for their debut studio album of the same name (1979). Although Buster's version was mostly instrumental except for the song title shouted for a few times, the Madness version features a spoken intro by Chas Smash and a barely audible but insistent background chant of "here we go!". The spoken line, "Don't watch that, watch this", in the intro is from another Prince Buster song, "Scorcher" — and is also used at the start of Dave and Ansell Collins' "Funky Funky Reggae" — whilst the next line "This is a heavy heavy monster sound" is taken from another Dave and Ansell Collins song, "Monkey Spanner". The first of those also became a trademark during the early promos of MTV, where the video was in heavy rotation. Andrew Jacob Scott is a Canadian jazz guitarist and professor from Toronto. Career After playing French horn in middle school, Scott turned to guitar in high school. His introduction to jazz came from his mother's albums of Dave Brubeck, Junior Mance, and Oscar Peterson. He attended Humber College and was taught by Pat LaBarbera, Don Thompson (musician), Don Thompson, and Charles Tolliver. WRAS (88.5 MHz) is a non-commercial FM radio station in Atlanta, Georgia, licensed to Georgia State University. Deric Wan Siu-lun (born 18 November 1964) is a Hong Kong actor, singer, and songwriter who has starred in numerous television series and released several studio albums. His representative works include a duet with Nadia Chan, a cover of the song Yat sang ho kau (一生何求), a villainous role in the film '' So Close'' and in TVB series such as ''Looking Back in Anger'' and '' The Breaking Point''.
