One Piece (season 1)
The first season of the ''One Piece (TV series), One Piece'' anime series was produced by Toei Animation, and directed by Kounosuke Uda. The season is adapted from the first twelve volumes of the manga by Eiichiro Oda and aired on Fuji TV, Fuji Television from October 20, 1999 through March 14, 2001, totaling 61 episodes. The first season depicts the exploits of the pirate captain Monkey D. Luffy and as he gathers his crew and heads to the Grand Line in search of the Wikt:titular, titular treasure, the "One Piece". In 2004, 4Kids Entertainment licensed the series for a heavily edited English Dubbing (filmmaking), dubbed broadcast. 4Kids edited the episodes for content, merged one episode and left out 18 episodes, thus reducing the season's episode count to a total of 44 episodes. Hiroshi Kitadani
is a Japanese singer, who primarily performs theme songs and other songs in anime. He also works behind the scenes of many songs. He currently works with JAM Project. He is most famous for singing the first, fifteenth, nineteenth (with Kishidan) and twenty-second opening themes of the popular anime series ''One Piece''. Career Hiroshi Kitadani began his singing career in 1994 as a member of the musical trio called Stagger. After the band released an album through Warner Music Japan, he released a self-titled album in 1999. Shortly after, he became globally recognized for singing ''One Piece'''s popular opening theme song, "We Are!" Soon, he paired up with fellow musicians in the musical act Lapis Lazuli in December of the same year. The group released a mini-album before Kitadani left. , also known as , is a Character (arts), fictional character in the ''One Piece'' franchise created by Eiichiro Oda. In the story, Zoro is the first crewmate to join Monkey D. Luffy's crew after he is saved (by Luffy and Koby (One Piece), Koby) from being executed at the Marine Base by Morgan (One Piece), Captain Morgan. He is the crew's combatant, and one of the two swordsmen of the Straw Hat Pirates, the other being List of One Piece characters#Brook, Brook.
