"One More Try" is a song by American club music singer-songwriter Kristine W, released in 1995 by Champion Records as the second single from her debut album, '' Land of the Living'' (1996). The song received positive reviews but narrowly missed the Top 40 on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 41. In the US, it reached number-one on the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart, number 78 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and number 64 on the ''Cash Box'' Top 100. In the Netherlands, "One More Try" peaked at number 16. Its music video was directed by Lindy Heymann. Kristine W wrote the song after taking some friends to see her hometown and discovering her old junior high school had been condemned. Larry Flick is an American journalist, former dance music columnist, single reviewer, and Senior Talent Editor for ''Billboard'' magazine, where he worked for 14 years. Now he produces and hosts Sirius XM radio shows. Flick started in the music business at 21 as a college radio rep at a company called Gold Mountain. ''Record Mirror'' was a British weekly music newspaper between 1954 and 1991 for pop fans and record collectors. Launched two years after the ''NME'', it never attained the circulation of its rival. Ayalah Deborah Bentovim (born 30 December 1970), better known by her stage name Sister Bliss, is a British keyboardist, record producer, DJ and songwriter. In the studio, she is best known for her work with Rollo Armstrong as one half of the production duo Rollo & Sister Bliss, and particularly as part of Faithless. Junior Vasquez (born Donald Gregory Mattern, August 24, 1949) is an American DJ, record producer and remixer.
