One Mo Nigga Ta Go
''One Mo Nigga ta Go'' is the only solo studio album by former N.W.A member DJ Yella. It was released on March 26, 1996, and is dedicated to Eazy-E. The album cover shows close-up of Eazy-E's face and Yella himself at Eazy-E's grave. Recording sessions took place at Audio Achievements in Torrance, California with Donovan "The Dirt Biker" Smith, who also provided mixing and co-production. Hip hop production, Production was handled primarily by DJ Yella himself. The album features guest appearances from B.G. Knocc Out & Dresta, Kokane, Dirty Red, Traci Nelson and Leicy Loc. The Average White Band (also known as AWB) are a Scottish funk and R&B band that had a series of soul and disco hits between 1974 and 1980. They are best known for their million-selling instrumental track " Pick Up the Pieces", and their albums '' AWB'' and '' Cut the Cake''. The band name was initially proposed by Bonnie Bramlett. "Eazy-Duz-It" is a song by American rapper Eazy-E. It was released as the lead single from the album of the same name. It features the song "Radio" as a B-side. The B-side of the cassette single also contained the original version of the song "Compton's N the House" which only appears on the cassette single version, the vinyl single has a radio edit of "Eazy-Duz-It" instead of "Compton's N the House". There is a remix version of "Compton's N the House" that appears on N.W.A.'s ''Straight Outta Compton'' album, but the original can only be found on the cassette single and has never been released elsewhere. Roy Ayers (born September 10, 1940) is an American funk, soul, and jazz composer, vibraphone player, and music producer. Ayers began his career as a post-bop jazz artist, releasing several albums with Atlantic Records, before his tenure at Polydor Records beginning in the 1970s, during which he helped pioneer jazz-funk. WhoSampled is a website and app database of information about sampled music or sample-based music, cover songs and remixes. History Nadav Poraz founded the site in London, England in 2008, as a way to track musical samples and cover songs. Mobile apps were released in 2012 and 2014 for iPhone and Android, respectively. The website's database is user-generated and reviewed by moderators before the content goes live. As of 2022, the site's most sampled track is the Amen break from the Winstons. In 2015, the site added support for film and television clips. The following year, it partnered with Spotify and introduced a six degrees of separation-inspired game that tracks relationships between artists, producers, and their tracks. Tyrone Garfield Kersey (April 7, 1949 – January 25, 2005), known as Ron "Have Mercy" Kersey, was an American keyboardist, songwriter, producer and arranger most known for writing the music to "Disco Inferno" by The Trammps. Kersey was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended and graduated from Edison High School where he sang in the glee club and played football. He was a lifelong football fan and loved his Philadelphia Eagles. Kersey served in the United States Air Force from 1967 through 1972. While in the service he often played piano and keyboards at the local boards. There is where he gained the nickname "have mercy". Sam Dees (born December 17, 1945) is an American soul singer, songwriter and record producer. He has released several albums throughout the 1970s, 1980s, and the 1990s; as a composer, he has written hundreds of songs for many music artists. ''The Villain in Black'' is the second album by rapper MC Ren, released April 9, 1996, on Ruthless Records and distributed by Relativity Records. Background After the release and success of his critically acclaimed debut studio album ''Shock of the Hour'' in late 1993, MC Ren immediately began working on his sophomore album.
