Anthony Armstrong (American Football)
Anthony A. Armstrong (born March 29, 1983) is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Miami Dolphins in 2008. He played college football at West Texas A&M. He was also a member of the Washington Redskins and Jacksonville Jaguars. Before joining the NFL, Armstrong was a member of the Dallas Desperados of the Arena Football League and the Odessa Roughnecks of the Intense Football League. Early life Armstrong was born on March 29, 1983, in Greencastle, Indiana. George Anthony Armstrong Willis (1897–1976), known as Anthony Armstrong, was an Anglo-Canadian writer, dramatist and essayist. A humorist who contributed to ''Punch'' and ''The New Yorker'' magazines, he wrote well-plotted crime plays including ''Ten Minute Alibi'' (1933). Biography Anthony Armstrong was the son of George Hughlings Armstrong Willis and Adela Emma Temple Frere. Although his parents were both English, he was born in Esquimalt, British Columbia as a consequence of his father's career as a Paymaster Captain in the Royal Navy. They returned to England before his brother's birth in 1900 in Dorset. He was educated at Uppingham School. His brother John Christopher Temple Willis (1900–1969) was Director-General of the Ordnance Survey 1953–1957, and a watercolourist. Red (stylized as R3D or RED) is an American Christian rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2002 by brothers guitarist Anthony Armstrong and bassist Randy Armstrong, with lead vocalist Michael Barnes. The band's first lineup also consisted of drummer Andrew Hendrix and guitarist Jasen Rauch. Currently, the line-up has consisted of the core trio of the Armstrong brothers and Barnes, along with touring drummer Brian Medeiros. Antony Charles Robert Armstrong-Jones, 1st Earl of Snowdon, (7 March 1930 – 13 January 2017), was a British photographer and filmmaker. He is best known for his portraits of world notables, many of them published in ''Vogue'', '' Vanity Fair'', and other major venues; more than 100 of his photographs are in the permanent collections of the National Portrait Gallery. From 1960 to 1978 he was married to Princess Margaret, the sister of Queen Elizabeth II. Early life Armstrong-Jones was the only son of the marriage of the Welsh barrister Ronald Armstrong-Jones (1899–1966) and his first wife, Anne Messel (later Countess of Rosse; 1902–1992).
