One Channel (Greece)
One Channel is a Greek private television channel broadcasting from Athens. History On 2 September 2016, Vangelis Marinakis, owner of Alter Ego Media won one of the four national television licenses auctioned in Greece after spending EUR 73.8m in a highly unusual competitive bidding process. The company, on 29 September patent the name and the logo of the network. After the auction was canceled, the network lost its licence and didn't launch. Alter Ego didn't participate in the second auction for the seven television licenses (2017–2018), because the company had recently bought Lambrakis Press Group on 31 May 2017, which owned 22% of the shares of Mega Channel. On 18 October 2018, tried to buy one of the last two remained TV licenses for 3,5m €. Due to the elections that took place in the country, the network wanted to cover the event. Cosmote TV is the corporate name for two pay television services in Greece, owned by Greek telecommunication operator OTE. Nova Telecommunications S.M.S.A. is a telecommunications company in Greece which provides broadband, television and fixed telephony. It also offers satellite services in Cyprus. It is traded on the Athens Exchange until its delisting in 2021. In June 2016 the services for clients and SMEs were rebranded under the Nova brand. The company gave up Forthnet brand completely in June 2020. On 29 May 2020 BC Partners' United Group agreed to purchase a majority stake in Nova from a consortium of 4 Greek banks. 2019 Greek Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in Greece on 7 July 2019. The elections were called by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on 26 May 2019 after the ruling Syriza party lost the European and local elections. They were the first national elections since the voting age was lowered to 17, and the number of parliamentary constituencies was increased from 56 to 59. Athens B, the largest constituency before the 2018 reforms, with 44 seats, was broken up into smaller constituencies, the largest of which had 18 seats. The result was a victory for the centre-right liberal conservative New Democracy party led by Kyriakos Mitsotakis, which received nearly 40% of the vote and won 158 seats, an outright majority. Nea Makri ( el, Νέα Μάκρη) is a town in East Attica, Greece. Since the local government reform of 2011, it has been a municipal unit within the municipality of Marathon. Anavyssos
Anavyssos ( el, Ανάβυσσος) is a town and a former municipality in East Attica, Greece located in the Athens Riviera. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Saronikos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 14.478 km2. At the 2011 census it had 6,202 inhabitants. It is situated near the Saronic Gulf coast, at the foot of the Olympos hill (487 m). Laurium or Lavrio ( ell, Λαύριο; grc, Λαύρειον (later ); before early 11th century BC: Θορικός ''Thorikos''; from Middle Ages until 1908: Εργαστήρια ''Ergastiria'') is a town in southeastern part of Attica, Greece.
