''Oncomelania hupensis'' is a species of very small tropical freshwater snail, an aquatic gastropod mollusk in the family Pomatiopsidae. Distribution ''Oncomelania hupensis'' has been found in China, Taiwan, and also in Japan, the Philippines, and on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.
