''On the Aire'' is a local television news and current affairs programme, serving Leeds and surrounding areas. Produced by Made in Leeds, the programme was produced and broadcast from studios at the Leeds Media Centre in the Chapeltown area of the city. Chapeltown, Leeds
Chapeltown is a suburb of north-east Leeds, in West Yorkshire, England. It is part of the Leeds City Council Ward of Chapel Allerton. It is approximately one mile north of Leeds city centre. Leeds
Leeds () is a city and the administrative centre of the City of Leeds district in West Yorkshire, England. It is built around the River Aire and is in the eastern foothills of the Pennines. The multiple-camera setup, multiple-camera mode of production, multi-camera or simply multicam is a method of filmmaking and video production. Several cameras—either film cameras, film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene. It is often contrasted with a single-camera setup, which uses one camera. Description Generally, the two outer cameras shoot close-up shots or "crosses" of the two most active characters on the set at any given time, while the central camera or cameras shoot a wider master shot to capture the overall action and establish the geography of the room. ITV Yorkshire, previously known as Yorkshire Television and commonly referred to as just YTV, is the British television service provided by ITV Broadcasting Limited for the Yorkshire franchise area on the ITV network. Mark Kielesz-Levine (born 1985) is a British Polish television reporter and presenter. He currently works at ITV Central in the Midlands. Originally from Leeds in West Yorkshire, Kielesz-Levine started his journalism career following a postgraduate diploma at Leeds Trinity University, after completing an undergraduate degree at Newcastle University and a master's degree at the University of Leeds. Batley And Spen (UK Parliament Constituency)
Batley and Spen is a constituency in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. The current MP is Kim Leadbeater, a Labour politician, elected in a 2021 by-election by a 323-vote margin. The seat has returned Labour MPs since 1997. Constituency profile The area is in the rolling Pennines of West Yorkshire with considerable commerce, industry, retail and occupational trades. A lower percentage of social housing is present than the regional average, however most of the larger settlements have some social housing. The population in the district is ethnically diverse.
