The song was written by their cousin Jamie Bridgeman. The song's success is largely because it is for charity It is hoped that the song will be able to encourage young people to drive with caution as the medium of music seemed the best way to get the message across . Leanne Moore
Leanne Moore (born 24 July 1984) is the winner of the 2008 series of ''You're a Star'' on Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). Born and raised in Limerick, Moore made it to the final along with fellow contestants Robyn Kavanagh and Deirdre Archibald. For the final, Moore sang "Piece of My Heart", "Run" and " Let's Stay Together". Moore was not favourite to win the competition, despite Louis Walsh stating that she had the most star potential during his appearance as a guest judge. Her debut single "On Wings" went to number one on the Irish Singles Chart on 27 June 2008. She recently returned from a trip to New York where she recorded songs for her debut album. She headlined Limerick Pride Festival 2008 with a packed out concert in Dolans Warehouse and shared her new songs for the first time. She participated in the Irish Eurosong 2010 with the song "Does Heaven Need Much More?". She has appeared as one of Jedward's backing singers representing Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest ...

''You're a Star'' is an Irish music competition series broadcast by RTÉ One from 2002 to 2008. Produced by the broadcaster and Screentime ShinAwiL, the series was similar to formats such as ''Idol'' and ''The X Factor''. For its first three series, ''You're a Star'' was used to choose the musician who would perform the Irish entry at the Eurovision Song Contest. In later series, the grand prize was changed to a recording contract with Universal Music Ireland (with the Irish selection now conducted via the Eurosong qualifier, whose finals are hosted by '' The Late Late Show''), and later music equipment and €50,000. The series was broadcast live from The Helix theatre in Dublin City University (DCU). The show was cancelled after the 2008 series and replaced a year later with ''The All Ireland Talent Show''. The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' EPOS systems. All major record shops, digital retailers and streaming services contribute to the chart, accounting for over 95% of the market. A new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by the Irish Recorded Music Association on Friday at noon. Each chart is dated with the "week-ending" date of the previous Thursday (i.e., the day before issue). The singles chart was first published on 1 October 1962, and covered the top ten singles of the previous week by record label shipments.
