On Trial UK
On Trial UK is an English punk rock band formed in 2004 under the name of On Trial in Wessex, England. They became The On Trial Organisation for a while before settling on the name On Trial UK in 2011. They play in many styles but are generally described as punk sounding and with punk ideologies. They have played live all over the UK and Europe including Spain, the Netherlands and Germany. They have recorded four studio albums and two EPs with a free single CD coming free with one of them. They joined up with Headcheck Records for the 2014 release of the album ''The Reward Network'', and continued this relationship with the 2016 release of ''Look Directly into the Sun''. The line ups have changed greatly over the years with only one constant member: Jonny Wah Wah, the front man. Punk ideologies are a group of varied social and political beliefs associated with the punk subculture and punk rock. It is primarily concerned with concepts such as mutual aid, against selling out, egalitarianism, humanitarianism, anti-authoritarianism, anti-consumerism, anti-corporatism, anti-war, decolonization, anti-conservatism, anti-globalization, anti-gentrification, anti-racism, anti-sexism, gender equality, racial equality, health rights, civil rights, animal rights, disability rights, free-thought and non-conformity. Rebellion Festival
The Rebellion Festival, formerly Holidays in the Sun and the Wasted Festival is a British punk rock festival first held in 1996. The festival has attracted mainstream press coverage from such sources as The Guardian, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph and Kerrang. The first festival in 1996 was held at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool England. It is still held there now, although on some years the festival has been held in nearby Morecambe. Festivals have also been held under the Rebellion and earlier brand names in Australia, United States, Japan, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, the Basque Country, Ireland and Austria. It is still a family-run, family-orientated event which celebrates Punk in all its forms, but also puts on bands from other alternative genres plus some Glam Rock artists and seminal bands from the 1960s and 1970s . ''Vive Le Rock'' is the world's only Rock N' Roll, Punk and New Wave magazine. It is an independent music magazine published in the United Kingdom which covers punk, new wave, glam, and garage through to mod and primal rock 'n' roll, and the darker side of alternative rock. It is circulated 10 times annually, an increase on previous bi-monthly circulation.
