''On the Fringe'' (simplified Chinese: 边缘少年) is a Singaporean Chinese drama which was telecast on Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp Channel 8. It made its debut on 18 Apr 1988. This drama serial consists of 25 episodes, and was screened on every weekday night at 9.30 pm. Li Nanxing
Jonathan Lee Nam Heng (born 7 November 1964), better known as Li Nanxing (), is a Singaporean actor and was named as 'Ah-Ge' (大哥, "big brother") of Caldecott Hill. He is also a film director and producer. Li has acted in many Chinese-language television dramas produced by MediaCorp Channel 8. He had won the Best Actor awards three times in the Star Awards, an annual acting awards in Singapore. Lin Meijiao
Lin Meijiao () is a Singaporean actress. Life and career Lin was educated at Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School. Lin has acted in many drama serials and is a multi-nominee for the Best Supporting Actress category at the annual Star Awards. She was awarded the Best Supporting Actress at the 1995 Shanghai International Film Festival for her role in the drama serial ''Silk of Love''. Huang Yiliang
Ng Aik Leong (Chinese: ), better known by his Chinese name Huang Yiliang, is a former veteran Singaporean television actor and director. Channel 8 ( zh, 8頻道) is a Singaporean free-to-air television channel, airing in Mandarin Chinese. It was created by Television Singapura on 31 August 1963 with experimental broadcasts, before going official on 23 November that year. The channel's logo is a yellow number 8 on top of a red disc. History Channel 8 began its test transmissions on Saturday, 31 August 1963, Malaysia's national day. Its first day consisted of a Hokkien film, repeats of India's participation in the South East Asian Cultural Festival and Singapore Celebrates. Eric Moo
Eric Moo Chii Yuan (born 9 February 1963), better known as Eric Moo or Wu Qixian, is a Malaysian Chinese award-winning singer-songwriter and record producer. Personal life Moo was born in Mambang Diawan, Kampar, Perak in 1963. He moved to Singapore with his family when he was 8 years old. Moo is married to Taiwanese model Pang Meijun and they have two daughters. Moo's eldest daughter Yonghuan is attending Berklee College of Music. Yang Libing () is a former Singaporean Mediacorp actress. She was prominently a full-time artiste from 1983 to 2009. Career Yang first entered the entertainment industry during the 1984 after she attended the SBC's drama training course with her older sister Yang Lina. Edmund Tay Kok Peng (born 27 May 1964), also known as Zheng Geping, is a Singaporean actor and executive producer managed under The Celebrity Agency. He works on the Chinese-language Channel 8.
