Fastway (band)
Fastway were a British heavy metal band formed in 1982 by former Motörhead guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke and UFO bassist Pete Way. The band went through many line-up and member changes and founding member and bassist Pete Way left the band after receiving an opportunity to play with Ozzy Osbourne. Career In 1982, both guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke and bassist Pete Way had become disgruntled with their own bands and decided to work together in a new outfit. They recruited Humble Pie drummer Jerry Shirley, and the then-unknown vocalist Dave King. They took their name from a combination of the founding members' names. However, Way discovered that he could not break his recording contract with Chrysalis Records and then received an offer to play for Ozzy Osbourne; he left the band and did not record any songs. Bram Tchaikovsky
Peter Bramall (born 10 November 1950 in Lincolnshire, England), better known by his stage name Bram Tchaikovsky, is a British vocalist and guitarist. He first came to prominence as a member of UK punk/ pub rock band The Motors, whom he joined in 1977. After he left them, he led an eponymous power pop band, with Micky Broadbent (bass, keyboards) and Keith Boyce (drums). He scored a US Top 40 hit single on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in 1979, with "Girl of My Dreams" (released February in UK, June in USA). In the Netherlands, "Sarah Smiles" was a minor hit, reaching number 32 in April 1979. Nick Garvey, Keith Line and Denis Forbes were also involved in later band lineups. In 1979 he played guitar for the Skids hit 'Into The Valley' on the BBC. After disappointing sales, the band split up in 1981 and Tchaikovsky left the music industry. Neil Murray (British Musician)
Philip Neil Murray (born 27 August 1950) is a Scottish bass player, noted for his collaboration with Whitesnake, Brian May's band, Black Sabbath and with Gary Moore. Career Early days Originally a drummer who started playing bass in 1967, Murray formed his first band with school friends in 1967 (Slap Happy and the Dum-Dums). His musical tastes were heavily influenced by the mid-1960s 'blues boom' bands and musicians, especially Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce, and later by Motown legend James Jamerson and Tim Bogert of Vanilla Fudge, Cactus and Beck, Bogert & Appice. Murray moved to bass shortly before studying graphic design at the London College of Printing. During 1973, Neil briefly played in Gilgamesh, a jazz-fusion band led by Alan Gowen. The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. Donald Smith Airey (born 21 June 1948) is an English musician who has been the keyboardist in the rock band Deep Purple since 2002, after the retirement of Jon Lord. Bernard John Marsden (born 7 May 1951) is an English rock and blues guitarist. Terry Thomas (Terence James Thomas) is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known as the founding member, lead singer and lead guitarist of the English rock band Charlie. Biography Thomas founded Charlie in 1971 and remained the only constant member, although his role as lead singer was taken instead by Terry Slesser for the band's 1983 album ''Charlie''. The 2009 album ''Kitchens of Distinction'', the first recording credited to Charlie in over twenty years, was largely a Thomas solo album, but was credited to Charlie due to contributions by former members Julian Colbeck and Martin Smith. Burlington is a city in the Regional Municipality of Halton at the northwestern end of Lake Ontario in Ontario, Canada.
