Omar Andréen
Omar Andréen (12 September 1925 – 1 June 2010) was a Norwegian painter, graphic artist, and illustrator. He took his education at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry, as well as from 1943 to 1945, Hayter, Paris. Omar Andréen took part in the exhibitions in Ljubljana (1956), Copenhagen (1956), Stockholm (1960, 1980), Budapest (1980), London (1986), as well as in many group and individual exhibitions in Norway. Nils Johan Rud
Nils Johan Rud (24 July 1908 – 7 June 1993) was a Norwegian novelist, writer of short stories, children's writer, and a magazine editor. He is particularly known for his long-term period as editor of the magazine ''Arbeidermagasinet'' / ''Magasinet For Alle''. Personal life Nils Johan Rud was born in Ringsaker as the son of Mons Nilsen Rud and Emma Johanne Nergaard. He married Aase Gudlaug Hellum in 1934, and is the father of Jazz drummer Espen Rud. He died in Asker in 1993. Career Rud published the children's book ''Gutter på skoggang'' in 1928, and continued writing children's books. In 1930 came ''Karsemne'', in 1931 ''Skaugumtrollet'', and ''Tusser og troll'' in 1934. He wrote ''Stifinner'' in 1935, and ''Et riktig mannfolk'' in 1936, all books for children. The book ''Alle tiders største'' was about sports, and Rud was involved as an administrator in the club IF Frisk Asker. ''A-magasinet'' is a supplement to the Norwegian newspaper ''Aftenposten'' that is published every Friday. The supplement is published in a format of , and it is therefore smaller than the daily newspaper, which is published in tabloid format. The supplement is printed at the press Hjemmet Mortensen Trykkeri and its number of pages has ranged from 68 to 84. Until 2001, the supplement was printed by the press Aktietrykkeriet in Fetsund. The National Gallery ( no, Nasjonalgalleriet) is a gallery in Oslo, Norway. Asker ( no, Asker), properly called Askerbygda in Norwegian, is a district and former Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Akershus, Norway.
