''Omanakkunju'' is a 1975 Indian Malayalam-language film, directed by A. B. Raj and produced by K. P. Kottarakkara. The film stars Madhu, Sheela, Adoor Bhasi and Jose Prakash in the lead roles. The film has musical score by M. K. Arjunan. The film was a remake of the Tamil film ''Kuzhanthaikkaga'', which itself was a remake of the Telugu film '' Papa Kosam''. Jolly Abraham, also known as Jollee Abraham, is an Indian gospel singer and film singer in Malayalam cinema. He sang more than 100 Malayalam movie songs during the 1970s and 1980s. His debut song was for ''Chattambikalyani'' in 1973. He was born in Kumbalam, Eranakulam, and is a graduate in BSc Botany from Sacred Heart College Thevara, Cochin. Sudheer was an Indian actor in Malayalam movies. He was a lead actor during the 1970s. He acted in more than 100 movies. His role in the movie '' Chembarathy'' in 1972 was well noted. Edappal Ponnamkuzhi Veettil Parameswaran Sukumaran Nair (10 June 1948 – 16 June 1997), known mononymously as Sukumaran, was an Indian actor and producer of Malayalam films. Sukumaran became a popular film star in Malayalam cinema during the 1970s. He was considered one of the superstar trios of Malayalam cinema during the late 1970s and early 1980s along with Soman and Jayan. Later, he became known for his character roles and antagonistic roles during the 1980s and 1990s, notably the villain in '' CID Unnikrishnan B.A., B.Ed.''(1994) and ''Onnaam Muhurtham''(1991), playing character roles in films like ''Souhrudam''(1990). Madhu (actor)
Madhavan Nair, commonly known by his stage name Madhu, is an Indian actor, director, producer, former college lecturer and former film studio owner, who works in Malayalam cinema and a certain number of Hindi and Tamil films. He was a prominent lead actor during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s and has acted in more than 400 films. Madhu has also directed 12 films, produced 15 films and at one time owned the Uma Film Studio. He was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2013 for his contributions towards the arts. He was honored with the J. C. Vani Jairam (born as Kalaivani on 30 November 1945), also credited as Vani Jayaram, is an Indian singer. She is best known as a playback singer in South Indian cinema. Chandrabhanu
Chandrabhanu (died 1262) or Chandrabhanu Sridhamaraja was the King of Tambralinga Kingdom in present-day Thailand, Malaysia and Sumatra and the Jaffna Kingdom in northern Sri Lanka. A Javaka, he was known to have ruled from during the period of 1230 until 1262. He was also known for building a well-known Buddhist stupa in southern Thailand. He spent more than 30 years in his attempt to conquer Sri Lanka. He was eventually defeated by the forces of the Pandyan Dynasty from Tamil Nadu (in present-day South India) in 1262 and was killed by the brother of the south Indian Emperor Jatavarman Sundara Pandyan. In 1247 he sent an expedition to the island ostensibly to acquire the Buddhist relic from the island. Sinhalese King Parakramabahu II sent his nephew Prince Veerabahu to handle the unexpected Malay invasion. He was able to defeat Chandrabhanu. Sreekumaran Thampi (born 16 March 1940) is an Indian lyricist, music director, director, producer, and screenwriter in Malayalam cinema. He also writes poetry and is a recipient of the Vallathol Award. In 2017, he was awarded the J. C. Daniel Award, Kerala government's highest honour for contributions to Malayalam cinema.
