Omair Rana
Omair Rana (born January 31, 1978) is a Pakistani actor and theatre director. He also directs plays in educational institutes, notably '' One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'' (2014) and ''Life of Galileo'' (2013) at Lahore Grammar School Johar Town campus. He runs his theatre company by the name of ''Real Entertainment Productions'' (REP) that was founded in 2000 and has done over 50 plays ever since. Early life and career He had his early education in Al Ain, UAE, Al Ain English-speaking school, which was instrumental in inculcating his love for theatre. In the course of his career development, he also undertook a number of internships including one with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is a theater actor in the region who has made a significant contribution in the field of teaching Dramatics Art at a number of institutions, including introducing IGCSE Drama to Pakistan in 2009. Saadat Hasan Manto (; Punjabi, ur, , ; 11 May 1912 – 18 January 1955) was a Pakistani writer, playwright and author born in Ludhiana, who was active in British India and later, after the 1947 partition of India, in Pakistan. Writing mainly in Urdu, he produced 22 collections of short stories, a novel, five series of radio plays, three collections of essays and two collections of personal sketches. His best short stories are held in high esteem by writers and critics. He is best known for his stories about the partition of India, which he opposed, immediately following independence in 1947. ''Geo Entertainment HD'' or Geo Drama is a Pakistani entertainment television channel owned by Geo Television Network was established in May 2002. Its test transmission started on 14 August 2002 on the PAS 10 digital satellite whereas on 1 October 2002 the regular transmission of Geo Entertainment was started.
