	Omagh Town F.C. Omagh Town Football and Athletic Club was a Northern Irish association football club that was based in Omagh, County Tyrone. Founded in 1962, the club played in the Northern Irish Football League from 1990 until its closure in 2005. They won the North West Senior Cup on six occasions and competed in the UEFA Intertoto Cup twice, in 1998 and 2003. Omagh Town was dissolved on 7 June 2005, owing to financial problems. History Omagh Town Football and Athletic Club was formed in August 1962 by Aines McGeehan, who wanted to start a team for young players from the Derry Road area of the town of Omagh. The team was called Omagh Celtic Football Club and started off with maroon shirts with blue shorts. The team (both Catholic and Protestant) played at Quarry Field Mullaghmena in Omagh. 	St Julian's Road St Julian's Road is a former football stadium in Omagh, Northern Ireland. It was the home ground of Omagh Town until the dissolution of the club in June 2005. The ground, which featured a grass pitch, had a capacity of 5000, made up of thirty 30 VIP places, 250 covered seats, 4720 standing places (3220 covered and 1500 uncovered). In 2020 the former site of the ground was demolished after laying derelict since the clubs demise and renovated into St Julians Park. History Town first leased the Mullaghmore site, which had previously served as a rubbish tip, from Omagh District Council in 1987, with the stadium opening three years later. 	Irish League Floodlit Cup The Floodlit Cup (more commonly known as the Budweiser Floodlit Cup, Budweiser Cup or Coca-Cola Cup for sponsorship reasons) was an annual football competition organised by the Irish Football League in the late-1980s and 1990s.
