Ollie Hancock
Ollie Hancock (born 25 August 1987) is a British racing driver. Hancock is the son of historic racing driver Anthony Hancock, and the younger brother of sportscar racer Sam Hancock. Career Formula Ford Hancock was born in Windsor, Berkshire, and began karting at the age of eight. He competed in five races before having to give up because of a shortage of funds. In the meantime, he rode motorcycles around the Hancock family home. He eventually moved into single-seaters in 2003, competing in the winter series of the Classic Formula Ford 2000 championship, campaigning a Van Diemen RF82. He would go on to win the championship. Hancock moved up into the series full-time in 2004, and would finish up second overall, just a point behind the champion; achieving four pole positions, a win and ten podiums in the process. Windsor is a historic market town and unparished area in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in Berkshire, England. FIA Formula Two Championship (2009–2012)
The FIA Formula Two Championship was a One-Design, one-make class of auto racing for Formula Two open wheel car, open wheeled single seater racing cars. The championship was contested each year from 2009 to 2012. It was a revival of the former European Formula Two Championship that was previously run from 1967 to 1984. Organised by MotorSport Vision, drivers competed over 16 rounds at eight venues, in identical cars built by Williams Grand Prix Engineering, with 400 bhp engines developed by Mountune Racing and supplied by Audi. Formula Two was revived due to the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile's concern that the cost of competing in motor racing at a level to progress directly to Formula One was becoming unreachable for many participants, and the category was re-introduced as a lower-cost alternative for drivers. The 89th 24 Hours of Le Mans (French: ''89e 24 Heures du Mans'') was a 24-hour automobile endurance race for Le Mans Prototype (LMP) and Le Mans Grand Touring Endurance (LMGTE) cars held between 21 and 22 August 2021, at the Circuit de la Sarthe, close to Le Mans, France, before 50,000 spectators. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya () is a motorsport race track in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. With long straights and a variety of corners, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is seen as an all-rounder circuit. The track has stands with a capacity of 140,700. Autodromo Enzo E Dino Ferrari
The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as Imola, is a motor racing circuit in the town of Imola, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, east of Bologna. It is one of the few major international circuits to run in an anti-clockwise direction. The circuit is named after Ferrari's late founder, Enzo Ferrari (1898–1988), and his son, Alfredo "Dino" Ferrari (1932–1956). Before Enzo's death, it was called Autodromo Dino Ferrari. The circuit has an FIA Grade One licence. Imola was the venue for the San Marino Grand Prix between 1981 and 2006. The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (), frequently referred to as ''Spa'', is a motor-racing circuit located in Stavelot, Belgium. It is the current venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1925, and has held a Grand Prix every year since 1985 (except 2003 and 2006). Spa also hosts several other international events including the 24 Hours of Spa, the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. The Masaryk circuit ( cz, Masarykův okruh) or Masarykring, also referred to as the Brno Circuit, refers to two motorsport race tracks located in Brno, Czech Republic. Circuit Ricardo Tormo, also known as ''Circuit de Valencia'' and officially named ''Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo'', is a motorsport race track located in Cheste (Valencian Community, Spain) and built in 1999. 2009 FIA Formula Two Championship
The 2009 FIA Formula Two Championship season was the first year of the relaunched FIA Formula Two Championship. The championship began on 30 May at the Circuit de Valencia and finished on 1 November at the Circuit de Catalunya, after eight double-header rounds. Andy Soucek was a dominant champion, finishing over 50 points clear of runner-up Robert Wickens. The season was overshadowed by the death of Henry Surtees during the second race at Brands Hatch. MotorSport Vision (MSV) is a motorsport organisation and an operator of six UK venues. MSV has a portfolio ranging from major two- and four-wheel championships to organising the PalmerSport corporate driving event. History MotorSport Vision was founded by John Britten, Sir Peter Ogden and Jonathan Palmer. MSV purchased the Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton Motor Racing Circuit, Snetterton and Cadwell Park motor racing circuits in 2004.
