Olivier Thill (born 17 December 1996) is a Luxembourgian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Turkish club Eyüpspor. Club career As a senior player, Thill started playing club football for FC Progrès Niederkorn from 2015 to 2018. On 31 August 2018, he signed a four-year contract with the Russian Premier League club FC Ufa. Three weeks before that, he scored a goal for his previous club Progrès against FC Ufa in the Europa League qualifier. On 17 October 2020, his contract with Ufa was terminated by mutual consent. On 30 December 2020, Ukrainian Premier League side Vorskla Poltava announced that they had signed a 2-year deal with Thill. The 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group A was one of the ten UEFA groups in the World Cup qualification tournament to decide which teams would qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals tournament in Qatar. Group A consisted of five teams: Azerbaijan, Luxembourg, Portugal, the Republic of Ireland and Serbia. The teams played against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format. The group winners, Serbia, qualified directly for the World Cup finals, while the runners-up, Portugal, advanced to the second round (play-offs). The 2018–19 UEFA Nations League D was the fourth and lowest division of the 2018–19 edition of the UEFA Nations League, the inaugural season of the international football competition involving the men's national teams of the 55 member associations of UEFA. The Stade Josy Barthel is the former national stadium of Luxembourg, and the former home of the Luxembourg national football team.
