Oliver James (born Oliver James Hutson; 1 June 1980) is an English actor, musician, singer, and songwriter. Acting career James trained at the Guildford School of Acting and made his acting debut in the made-for-television short film ''School's Out'' as Dean. He then appeared in an episode for the BBC television series ''The Afternoon Play''. In 2002, James was cast as the role of Ian Wallace in the teen romantic comedy '' What a Girl Wants''. The film was directed by Dennie Gordon and co-starred Amanda Bynes. The movie was released in 2003, to mixed critical reception, and a moderate box office with worldwide earnings of $50,732,139. ''The Innocence Project'' is a television drama series created by BBC Northern Ireland and first broadcast on BBC One on 9 November 2006. The series follows the work of Professor Jon Ford (Lloyd Owen), who sets up ''The Innocence Project'', peopled entirely by a hand-picked group of law students. They take on cases pro bono that no one else will handle, or those that have been forgotten or given up on, working for clients that would otherwise have no hope, and who have possibly been wrongly convicted. Rukshan Perera, is a Sri Lankan-born singer-songwriter, record producer, international recording, television star, and a multi-instrumentalist. Biography He was born in Colombo, to a musical family. Rukshan got his first piano lesson at age five from his mother, a well known music teacher/church organist for fifty years in Moratuwa. Rukshan became a self-taught guitarist and formed his first family band at the age of ten and performed over Radio Ceylon. He was educated at the Royal College, Colombo.
