Oliver Dunn
Oliver Harris Dunn (born September 2, 1997) is an American professional baseball infielder for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2024. Career Dunn played college baseball at the University of Utah. In 2018, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Dunn was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 11th round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft. The Philadelphia Phillies selected Dunn in the minor league phase of the 2022 Rule 5 draft. He played in the Arizona Fall League after the 2023 season. On November 14, 2023, the Phillies traded Dunn to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for Hendry Mendez and Robert Moore and the Brewers added him to their 40-man roster. Dunn was optioned to the Triple–A Nashville Sounds to begin the 2024 season. Infielder
An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field. Standard arrangement of positions In a game of baseball, two teams of nine players take turns playing offensive and defensive roles. Although there are many rules to baseball, in general the team playing offense tries to score runs by batting balls into the field that enable runners to make a complete circuit of the four bases. The team playing in the field tries to prevent runs by catching the ball before it hits the ground, by tagging runners with the ball while they are not touching a base, or by throwing the ball to first base before the batter who hit the ball can run from home plate to first base.
