Princess Olga of Greece and Denmark ( el, Όλγα; 11 June 1903 – 16 October 1997) was a Greek princess who became princess of Yugoslavia as the wife of Prince Paul, Regent of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Princess Olga was a daughter of Prince Nicholas of Greece and Denmark and Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna of Russia, and a granddaughter of King George I of Greece. After a brief engagement in 1922 to Crown Prince Frederick of Denmark, she married Prince Paul of Yugoslavia in 1923. In 1934, after the assassination of King Alexander I, Prince Paul was appointed regent of Yugoslavia on behalf of King Peter II, and Princess Olga became the senior lady of the court and acted as first lady of Yugoslavia, working side by side with her husband on representation duties. Olga Bulbenkova (1835-1918) was a Russian fashion designer. She founded the first Russian fashion house. Life She was born into a priest’s family in Nizhny Novgorod. At the age of nine, she became a fosterchild of her aunt, the wife of the merchant Butakov of St. Petersburg. Her aunt owned a haberdashery shop on Nevsky Prospect. After secondary school, Olga Bulbenkova studied at the fashionable tailor's workshop of Mme Watt. She eventually took over the workshop herself. She established what has been called the first Russian fashion house. Olga Boznańska (15 April 1865 – 26 October 1940) was a Polish painter of the turn of the 20th century. She was a notable painter in Poland and Europe, and was stylistically associated with the French impressionism, though she rejected this label. Olga Appell Avalos (born August 2, 1963, in Durango) is an American long-distance runner from Mexico, best known for winning the gold medal in the women's marathon at the 1991 Pan American Games in Havana, Cuba.
