Olena Yuriyivna Iurkovska ( uk, Олена Юріївна Юрковська, born 27 September 1983) is a cross-country skier and biathlete from Ukraine, and a five time Paralympic Champion. She has competed at every Winter Paralympic Games since 2002, winning a total of five gold, five silver, and five bronze medals up to 2010. She also competed at the 2004 Summer Paralympics, as a member of the Ukrainian volleyball team. The romanization of Ukrainian, or Latinization of Ukrainian, is the representation of the Ukrainian language in Latin alphabet, Latin letters. Ukrainian is natively written in its own Ukrainian alphabet, which is based on the Cyrillic script.
