Storkow (Mark) is a town in Oder-Spree district, in Brandenburg, Germany. Geography Storkow is situated in the western part of Oder-Spree district, about southwest of Fürstenwalde. The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). Sports promoter Eddie Hearn is the PDC chairman. PDC European Tour
The PDC European Tour is a series of darts tournaments held across Europe organized by the Professional Darts Corporation. Starting in 2012 with five events, the number of events has steadily risen with eight held in 2013 and 2014, nine in 2015, ten in 2016, twelve in 2017, thirteen in both 2018 and 2019, and thirteen once more in 2020 (although that was reduced to four, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic), and only two events took place in 2021, with a return to thirteen events in 2022. These events see the top players on the PDC ProTour Order of Merit compete against players from six different regional qualifiers. Currently the prize fund for each tournament is £140,000, with £25,000 going to the winner. The 2019 International Darts Open was the twelfth of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2019 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at the SACHSENarena, Riesa, Germany, from 13–15 September 2019. It featured a field of 48 players and £140,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Gerwyn Price was the defending champion after defeating Simon Whitlock 8–3 in the previous year's final, and he successfully defended his title, by defeating Rob Cross 8–6 in the final. It was his second Euro Tour title, while Cross failed to get over the line in his fourth consecutive European final.
