Bradley Steven Bergesen (born September 25, 1985) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Baltimore Orioles and Arizona Diamondbacks, and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Chunichi Dragons. He has been a pitching coach in the Philadelphia Phillies organization since 2018, currently with the Reading Fightin Phils since 2020. Finn Bergesen (3 September 1945 – 11 September 2012) was a Norwegian civil servant and businessperson. He worked in the Ministry of Fisheries and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between 1973 and 1983, and then became secretary-general of Norges Fiskarlag. Helge Ole Bergesen (29 September 1949 – 29 June 2015) was a Norwegian political scientist and politician for the Conservative Party. He was born in Stavanger as the grandson of Ole Bergesen, obtained the mag.art. degree (PhD equivalent) in political science. In 1980 he was hired as a researcher at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute. His publications include ''Norge mellom rik og fattig'' (1981), ''Fiendskap og fellesskap: internasjonal politikk i forandring'' (1991, with W. Ole Bergesen (13 November 1832 – 8 May 1899) was a Norwegian priest and politician. Bergesen was born at Hetland in Rogaland, Norway. Trained in the ministry, he worked as a catechist in Farsund, chaplain at Hetland (1869-1873), vicar of Brevik (1873-1880) and assistant priest in Kristiansand (1880-1882). He was assistant priest (1882-1888), priest (1888-1889) and dean at the Stavanger Cathedral (1889-1899). He was elected to the Parliament of Norway from Brevik in 1874, and was re-elected in 1877. Berge Sigval Natanael Bergesen (3 April 1863 – 4 December 1956) was a Norwegian shipowner and industrialist who served as a member of the Norwegian Parliament . Bergesen was born at Farsund in Vest-Agder, Norway. He was a son of Ole Bergesen (1832-1899) and Marthe Marie Sophie Soeborg Jensen (1830-1908). He completed middle school in Kristiansand in 1879 and then received a trade school education in Osnabrück, Germany. Between the years 1882–1887, he received experience with chartering and ship brokerage businesses in Germany and Britain. In 1887, he moved to Stavanger where he founded his own shipping company, ''Sigval Bergesen'' (not to be confused with Bergesen d.y. ASA, which was founded by his son Sigval). Over time, his fleet grew to become the city's largest. Bergesen was member of the Parliament of Norway from 1903 to 1909.
