Old Town, Forsyth County, North Carolina
Old Town (or Oldtown) is a former unincorporated community in North Carolina which was annexed by Winston-Salem. It was located near Bethania, Tobaccoville, and Pfafftown along NC 67. The name now refers to a neighborhood that occupies the former unincorporated community limits. Commercial development The Old Town Center, a shopping center which opened in the second quarter of the 1960s, has had an increase of development over the years. It includes national retail establishments and restaurants Other non-local establishments are also featured at the shopping center. Neighborhood facilities Old Town Park and its Neighborhood Center is south of the neighborhood towards Pfafftown. Bethania is the oldest municipality in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States, and was most recently incorporated in 1995, upon the reactivation of the original 1838/1839 town charter. Tobaccoville, North Carolina
Tobaccoville is a village in Forsyth and Stokes counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The population was 2,209 at the 2020 census. While a Tobaccoville post office was established in 1879, the village was not incorporated until 1991, as a defense against forced annexation of the area by the nearby city of King. NC 67
North Carolina Highway 67 (NC 67) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The highway travels through Yadkin and Forsyth Counties between its western terminus at U.S. Route 21 Business (US 21 Business) in Jonesville and NC 150 in Winston-Salem. NC 67 primarily follows an east–west alignment and connects the towns of Jonesville, Boonville, and East Bend, along with the city of Winston-Salem. The first NC 67 was established as an original North Carolina state highway in 1921 traversing a route between Taylorsville and Sparta. The highway was later extended south to Conover in 1926, but was replaced by NC 16 and NC 18 by 1929. Clogging
Clogging, buck dancing, or flatfoot dancing is a type of folk dance practiced in the United States, in which the dancer's footwear is used percussively by striking the heel, the toe, or both against a floor or each other to create audible rhythms, usually to the downbeat with the heel keeping the rhythm.
