''Old Things New'' is the sixth studio album by American country music artist Joe Nichols, released on October 27, 2009 by Universal South Records. It produced two singles: "Believers", which peaked at number 26 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs chart, and "Gimmie That Girl" which became his third number-one song in May 2010. Joe Nichols
Joseph Edward Nichols (born November 26, 1976) is an American country music artist. Between 1996 and 2001, he held recording contracts with the Intersound and Giant labels. In 2002, he signed with Universal South Records, now known as Show Dog-Universal Music. Nichols began his career with The Rodeo Band, playing in high school gymnasiums and small clubs. Dallas Davidson is an American country music singer and songwriter from Albany, Georgia, who has written for artists such as Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Cole Swindell, Jake Owen, Luke Bryan, Randy Houser, Lady Antebellum, and Billy Currington. Gary Burr, born in Meriden, Connecticut, is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer, primarily in the country music genre. Many of the songs he has written have become Top-10 hits, the first of which was " Love's Been A Little Bit Hard On Me" released by Juice Newton (#7 on Billboard's Hot 100) in 1982. He became a member of the group Pure Prairie League (1982 to 1985), taking over after Vince Gill departed the group. His soft-spoken singing voice was given the nickname "Whispering Bill" by music critics and writers.
