Olav Viksmo-Slettan (born Tolga) is a Norwegian radio and television reporter for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. Starting his radio career for Radio Vest, he later worked as program director for the television series ''Reparatørene'' and ''Sommer-Lørdag'', as well as presenter and reporter for the radio programs '' Reiseradioen'' and '' Nitimen''. In 2000, together with Børge Ousland, he was one of the first persons to live broadcast a North Pole- expedition. Tolga, Norway
Tolga is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Østerdalen. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Tolga. The municipality is bordered in the east by the municipality of Tynset, in the south by Rendalen, and in the east by Engerdal and Os, all in Innlandet county. The municipality is the 99th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Tolga is the 300th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 1,551. Arne Scheie
Arne Scheie (born 7 January 1944) is a Norwegian sports commentator, with association football, football and ski jumping as his specialties. He started working in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation in 1972, and started commenting the Four Hills Tournament in 1973. Over the years, he has been involved with eight Winter Olympics, attended over 30 Four Hills Tournaments and has commentated on well over 100 matches for the Norway national football team. Scheie has also commentated on cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skiing, biathlon, swimming (sport), swimming, and bandy for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. Exploration refers to the historical practice of discovering remote lands. It is studied by geographers and historians. Two major eras of exploration occurred in human history: one of convergence, and one of divergence.
