Ola O. Røssum
Ola O. Røssum (10 May 1926, Nord-Fron – 29 May 2012) was a Norwegian politician who was a member of the Centre Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Oppland in 1969, and was re-elected on two occasions. He had previously served as a deputy representative during the 1965–1969 term. On the local level he was a member of the executive committee of the Nord-Fron municipal council from 1965 to 1967, and then of the Fron municipal council from 1967 to 1971. He studied at the Norwegian College of Agriculture from 1956 to 1959, and was then research assistant there for one year. Nord-Fron
Nord-Fron is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Gudbrandsdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Vinstra. Other population centers in Nord-Fron include the villages of Kvam and Skåbu. The municipality is the 95th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Storting
The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. Oppland
Oppland is a former county in Norway which existed from 1781 until its dissolution on 1 January 2020. The old Oppland county bordered the counties of Trøndelag, Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Akershus, Oslo and Hedmark. The county administration was located in the town of Lillehammer. Merger On 1 January 2020, the neighboring counties of Oppland and Hedmark were merged to form the new Innlandet county. Both Oppland and Hedmark were the only landlocked counties of Norway, and the new Innlandet county is the only landlocked county in Norway. Fron, Norway
Fron is a former municipality in the old Oppland county, Norway. The municipality has existed twice: from 1838-1851 and again from 1966-1977.
